Brand new Autometer tach acting crazy
I have a 5" tach w/ shift light. It gets its signal from my MSD 6Al. The problem is this, when I hit the set shift point, the damn thing instantly pegs to zero. The light never comes on. Has anyone else ever heard of this? I called Autometer and was on hold for what seemed like an eternity and finally hung up. They never did answer my e-mail either.

Yep. The thing seems to read fine and function normal right until I hit the selected shift point. I'm starting to think it might be deffective?
