Default Looking for advice

I just bought a 2004 Mustang GT. I am not sure if I like the honeycomb in the hood scoop and side scoops. This is my first Mustang. Should I remove them? If I did, how? What would it do if I did remove them. I am not talking about removing the scoops, just the honeycomb inside. I am afraid that they will turn into a dirt and bug collector, but I think it would look better.
Any suggestions?

I wouldn't remove them if i were you. I beleive, although i am not sure, that they somehow clip on, so you will see the holes behind them. I am not 100% sure on that though. I know some places online sell things that you can replace the honecomb with that you may like better.

I agree with sjlawr, they probably just held in by clips.....there are other clips you can replace them with. Just use a search engine. Type something like Mustang scoop inserts.
