Default Are mud flaps as wack as I think they are?

Anyone got any recommendations for a 93 notch? I don't like mud flaps but I don't like seeing dirt and crap on the bottom of my doors either.

These are pretty cool lookin (they're on a mini-cooper). Hoping I can find some like this. They look a little more like an extension of the car rather than looking like mud flaps: http://outmotoring.com/cgi-bin/image...s/MM_mudmd.jpg

Don't drive in the rain or when the roads are wet. Detail on a weekly basis.

Mudflaps... on a Mustang? They really don't do much, you will still get mud and crap on the bottom of your doors, it just starts farther back on the doors, look at any dirty car that has mudflaps, even the molded ones like the pic. Just wash your car more often like Stang_Crazy said.

The SVO (the only 'banger-powered Mustang I'd own) had wheel spats in front of the rear wheels, which looked okay. But on your notch? Don't know. Were it me, I'd just wash the car more often.

living in Florida, i assume the weather is not bad most of the time, the roads are in good condition - and keeping it washed and detailed regularily is best thing you can do for your Stang - being and girl and thinking i am sooo smart - i decided the only way to do this is incorporate a bi-weekley cleaning and detail w/ morning "quick detail" touch ups into my beauty regimen ...guys at work, etc. think i clean it every day - it looks sexy and that way the cleanings don't turn into a big project or take excessive time !!!

they don't look too bad but they might not look too good on a mustang. Keep up with the detailing between outings.
