373 Gears Installation
I have a 94 cobra in need of an installation of 373 gears. I have the kit, ring, and pinion. Is this really as bad of an installation as all the garages are saying? I would like to attempt to do it myself but I don't want to end up having to flat bed it in pieces to a garage to fix.
Has anyone done this installation? Does it really take 5-10 hours like that garages are saying? Thanks |

Re: 373 Gears Installation
I just bought a '98 Cobra and was looking to install the same exact set of gears. My friend who manages a mechanic shop said it was a bear because of having to drop the rear end, and monkey around with the rear end suspension, unhook brake lines, etc. in addition to the differential work. Let me know if you find anything out.
