Misfire issues
I've had my 05 GT for a few months now and love it. I got it for a good price but it has a little over 50,000 miles on it now. I recently got engine trouble codes indicating a cylinder 2 misfire and cylinder 2 misfire at startup (in first 1000 RPM). I cleared the code and just checked the connection and a few days later the codes came back. I am new to this type of ignition system and am looking for some suggestions. I was thinking of trying new plugs but fear stripping the heads. Any help I could get would be appreciated.
FYI, I live in Wisconsin so it is very cold here now and I don't drive it often. Any chance its an issue with the temperature? Thanks, Dustin |
