Also. my point really wasn't that he couldn't afford the V8, but more of insurance...but alot of that trash (taillights go first!!!:rolleyes) certainly could have helped pay for it, I know. Well, yeah the 2.3Ls weren't the most efficient motors, especially for their size...the V6 was certainly decent in gas mileage..also that it could take 87 instead of a higher grade. Also, I had a 98 V6, so my little 3.8L wasn't plagued with the issues of the 94-95 head gasket drama, etc. |

![]() It's not the worst Stang I've seen, but the worse part on it to me is the stupid sun shade rear window visor thingy. I have never saw a car that looks good with one of those on it, let alone on a Mustang. They look even worse on fox-bodies. Uggghhh!!!!
If thats your thing to put all that crap on your car for whatever the reason might be then fine, its a free country, but that also gives me the same right to laugh my ***** off at the sad attempt of "visual enhancement" made by the ricer. After all it is my retna's that are left burning from looking at the darn thing. I'm glad people buy V-6's. I'll never own one, but it helps boost the sales numbers and keep the good ole' V-8 Mustangs rolling down the assembly line. That is a good thing, however, the problem is with the minority of V-6 owners that pretend their cars are fast. Most aren't. Yeah, there are the few and far between supercharged or nitrous equiped V-6's that put up respectable times, but I'd much rather spend my money on a V-8. You will get far better performance for your dollar and I have yet to hear a V-6 that sounds half as good a Mustang V-8 with an exhaust system on it. Anyway back to the subject at hand. That thing is fugly.

![]() I have to ask a question. How can people not afford a V8 mustang? I am 17 and I pay for everything to do with my car. Insurance and car payment. I don't buy for a second that someone can't afford one. I never took drivers ed or anythng like that so my insurance is high. My parents let me go as primary driver on our explorer so that lowered the price a bit. I know i am going to get flamed for this but i jus don't buy the "I can't afford a V8 excuse"
