BRAKE SPECIFIC FUEL CONSUMPTION. Learn it, live it, know it, love it! And then to drop down to 40 seconds with the fan running, that just sux bro. How exactly do you have this Holley Blue wired? Relay???? Yes, you have a relay, RIGHT????

![]() Yep, I have a relay wired BUT I took a short cut and powered my pump relay with the hot wire going to the fan relay instead of running a seperate hot wire from the battery.
I don't know if that makes a difference or not but that's how it's wired now. Also remember that the fan and pump were only running off of 12v. since the car wasn't running and seeing the full 14.5v. I also know that while driving, the pump gets quiet the second the fan is turned on. Could the fan be robbing current from the pump because they share the same hot wire?

![]() I am no wiring whiz, actually I have caught almost every car I own on fire. With that said, I will give my 2 cents. I ran a certain gauge wire to my electric fan, to make sure it could handle the draw and not get to hot and possibly burn up on me. Now if I read your post right, you wired the fuel pump using the fan’s hot wire? I would think it needs it own lead dedicated to just the pump.
I think you have probably just found your lost MPH. No short cuts.. run it again....and come back and tell us how she did! Ryan

![]() Sounds like that should be your problem.
If you can get your mph back you should be somewhere in the 12's.
