Did ya'll know that there is more undiscovered territory in Canada then all of Africa? Home of the mighty fighting maple leaves.

Maybe that's because no one wants to go there?

Don't they drive big rigs across the frozen lakes up there during the winter months? I remember seeing a Discovery Channel show about how they gauge the thickness of the ice and then actually plow the snow in order to make roads right across the lakes. Freakin' unbelievable stuff they do up there in Canada! Maybe it's too much Moosehead or something?!?!

The only parts of Canada that I've been to are Windsor, Nova Scoitia (sp?) and Prince Edward Island. Beautiful country up there near NS and PEI.

In the arctic, yes. There are several mines north of Yellowknife and they have access to the mine via plane or ice road. The ice road is only open for about 6 weeks in Feb/Mar.
