Post Does a stall converter and a shift Kit make a difference?

Hi I have 3:55 gears,fuel pressure regulator,190lph fuel pump,Mac headers,Dynomax mufflers,Racecraft springs,G-Load brace,strut tower brace,and the stock aod. Will a stall converter and shift kit make a diff. If so what kind of shift kit I want one that will throw you back in your sit and what stall converter, i need a well priced one, what stall rpm's would i need. Thank you 91GT Silver5.0

Transgo shiftkits work good. I have one in my 94 mustang. The kit shifts hard enough to spin the wheels at full throttle when granny shifting from first to second...They have three different settings for the shifts (easy , medium, hard)

I didn't have a shift kit in my old 91 but I did have a stall converter. Precision Industries Stallion Converter. Mine was a 2600 stall and made a huge difference even though I was still stock (except gears). It helped me get off the line alot quicker...the RPM's would just jump from idle to about 3 grand in an instant. PI make the best converters...so if you want the best, get a Stallion Converter. Mine ran me a little over $700 for the converter and like $170 for the install.
