Question Heat From Air Vents

Hello, I have a 1994 5.0 GT Mustang, and I have a question on how to fix heat coming from the air vents when only the outside air is on and set to cool, now when I put the air conditioning on it is cold, bit even if I shut down the vents it comes out the bottom heat vents, is this from the engin area or what??..
