Angry Insurance problems

I can not find anyone that will insure my 79 for what it is. The best insurance I have so far is for blue book value, and that is only $900.00. My insurance company said to get the car apraised so they can give me the proper insurance so thats what I did. Now they don't want to honor it because the value is much higher then they expected. I even tried Hagerty Insurance. They only deal with custom cars, and hot rods, but told me that they can't insure my car because of the extensive mods. There has to be a insurance company that will insure me. I don't even wan't to drive my car because I will loose my a$$ if something happened.

I know there are speciality insurers that will cover older, modified, appraised autos, such as yours. Progressive may be one of these; check them out online @ auto.progressive.com

If no luck there, try a search engine under auto insurance - speciality or appraised auto. It's there, you just have to look harder.
