Post TBird Vs Cougar

I donno if any of you stangers care, but the other night I ran against a T bird, same year as my cougar but he had a carbed 302 in it. The thing hawled *** . It was freaking baddass. We raced a few times, and both times I pulled at first, but then he started to pull and it evened out. I guess that's the carb kicking in or something. Anyway, then we pulled over and BSed for a while. The cool thing is, he had his dog in the car with him. I was like, man does your dog like to race? It was just pretty cool to see another tbird/cougar guy out there with a fast car.

Hey Quantum, havent heard from you in a long while. Whats been up?

Sounds like a fun race, I like to see non Mustang Fords getting at it. My mom has a 88 Blue Max special edition Cougar, I would like to put a 99+ 3.8L in there with a little extra BOOST.

I think there overlooked in the performance world. They could make great sleepers.

Hmmmmm wonder if a 5.4 would fit? Cougar R anybody?

Sounds like a plan man. Only non windsor motor I've seen in a cougar has been a 460. But my dad's cousin is planning on putting a 429 cobra jet in his 87 turbo coupe. Anyway, It is good to see fast cougars. There is one in oklahoma city with an HO 5.0, AOD tranny, and 150 shot of NOS. It hawls. The funny thing is it looks horrible. It's got huge dents and the paint looks horrible. But it's fast as hell. It's the only way to go in my opinion.
