Re: air pressure for rear springs with air bag
I just installed one in my car as well.
Minimum is 20psi and maximum is 30 psi.

Re: air pressure for rear springs with air bag
Are you sure? I asked some guy tonight getting gas, he told me all you put in is 10lbs, doesn’t seem like much to do anything. How do they ride? Notice a big difference,

Re: air pressure for rear springs with air bag
I am very sure it wont even inflate totaly with 10psi. I have one spring in my rear passenger side spring. The air bag will prevent the car from torquing so hard to that side during the launch which should result in a better 60ft time.
I wont get to try it out till the 22nd but on the box it says 30psi max. When I air it up to 20psi is is totaly inflated but still soft and at 30psi it is stiff.

Re: air pressure for rear springs with air bag
I wonder if that’s why both wheels aren’t spinning, I just installed a set of Mac lower arms, and the car now goes in a straight line, no more swinging to the right, but only the passenger wheel is hooking, and before I put these in, both wheels grabbed,

Re: air pressure for rear springs with air bag
i used to use 8 lbs and that worked best...10-12 lbs and it was rasing that side up and looked goofy. and didn't hook any better than at 8 psi

Re: air pressure for rear springs with air bag
i bought these used no instruction, which spring gets the air bag and which side ? the spring marked r has more coils and the bag won't fit inside, only if i force it in, the one maked L has less coils and the air bag goes in real easy. now i thought the heavy spring and air bag went on the passenger side. marked r.

Re: air pressure for rear springs with air bag
Mine said 5-20 psi. Different manufacturers have different specs. Mine was pretty stiff with NO air in it though. Kind of a bytch to get in as well.
Just installed it 2 days ago, trying it out tomorrow at Norwalk. Can't wait to see how it does. Here's a peek at my 1.49 60' launch in slo motion, WITHOUT the air bag (obviously) http://media.putfile.com/Luckyslo-molaunch1

Re: air pressure for rear springs with air bag
There eibach drag springs, I could collapse the bag and stuff it in, but it doesn’t seem right, you mean the right side passenger, gets the heavy coil spring with the air bag, and the left side driver gets the oem looking spring, I would think the driver side would get the bag in the weaker spring to help balance the rear out
