Nitros on a stock motor with 119k miles
How much hp from the bottle can my LX take? What is the best system?
What will I need to make it work? If imports can do 10s on a stock motor with nitros I should be able to do 8s hehehehe. ------------------ Steve Stumbaugh 89 LX 5.0 5sp. Removed air silencer Motorcraft 8mm wires Autolite platinum plugs BBK O/R h-pipe |

Ok the stock 5.0 can handle up to a 150 shot but i would not go any higher than a 125 shot just to be safe at all times.
My friend has an sn95 5.0 that is an AOD and he has a 100 shot dry shot that is and his 8th mile time went from 9.4's to 8.5's. My advise be safe and dont blow your engine and dont use your nos at every stop sign/light. My friend had his nos kit for the first two weeks and he had already gone through 5 10lb bottles and around here it cost about 30-50 bucks to fill it up each time. Good luck with your nos set up |
