Mass air conversion questions
i have an 88 speed density mustang. I bought a computer out of a 93 5 speed. I have a conversion harness that taps into the existing computer harness. I also have a c&l meter. I think i have everything i need to do that swap. I was reading the instructions and it has wierd stuff in it like Pre89 cars may need to have wires connected to avoid poor performance. Does that apply to me since im using a 93 computer? Wires like fuel pump monitor, vehicle speed sensor wires, and thermactor pump wires must be moved, pin 51 to 38 and 11 to 32. I guess what it comes down to is can someone help me to understand what i need to do to convert this car. Im somwhat car litterate so it shouldnt be that hard. thanks

i did this a couple months ago,
the only thing that i had to do besides moving the 2 wires and also splicing into 2 other wires was i had to use one of the included extra wires and run it to the vehicle speed sensor because my car was dying upon sudden stops, this cleared it up right away hope this helps alittle

EASY AS PIE!
pin 37 POWER
pin 40 or 60 GROUND pin 9 SIGNAL RETURN pin 50 SIGNAL its that easy man takes 30 minutes tops. add the two wires, and splice two wires.. hardest part to me was running the PigTail through fenderwell.. Easy man i had a 87 GT 5 speed used a A9L and the Holcomb PigTail.. (looked like drop cord)

I had to hook up those extra wires too, otherwise it would throw codes and all that. Good luck, it's not so hard!
