BFGoodrich Drag Radials- What size tire do I mount on?
I'll be making the first passes in my 90 LX in the spring. I want to run BFGoodrich Drag Radials in the back on a set of Weld Draglites. I guess I'm not sure what size tire or wheel to run? I found 2 tire sizes that would fit on a 15 x 8 Weld Draglite. The sizes are: 235/60R-15 amd 275/50R-15. What do you think I should go with? All these tires numbers have gotten me confused?

You want the 275/50/15s on the 15x8s. When I first was about to put the drag radials on my 15x8s, it took me almost FOREVER to decide, but I went with the 275s. The right choice. You'll love them.
Oh, and here's how they'll look (these are Nittos, though): BTW, my rear fenders lips are rolled-- no big deal or hard task. You may need to do this so they won't scrap, but since you're getting 50s, tehy may be just fine. I rolled mine b/c I previously had some Eagle tires that were 255/60/15s and they did scrape the fender lips when I hit bumps on the road.

Fox Body - Thanks so much. The picture helped a ton. Thats what I love about this website. Everyone is here to help. Thanks so much. I'll be going with the 275's. I hope I dont have to roll my fenders because I have no clue how to do that. We'll see....

You're very welcome. I've gotten use to putting tire and rim sizes in my signature and understand pics help, b/c like I said, I went through the same thing b4.. had no idea what tire size to run and every time I looked in magazines, they offered little or no help.
Oh and if you end up rolling the fenders (and you may not...), trust me, it is one of the EASIEST "mods" you will ever do. Just come back here if you need instructions. Glad I could help...
