Default Will SN95 headers fit a Fox body?

My father in law bought some BBK unequal length headers that came from a 94. He was not aware of the EGR fitting that the SN95 headers have on them. Can they be made to fit his 92 coupe? Can we just weld the opening shut? Are the headers the same other than that? Any info would be helpful. Thanks.

Yes they are the same other than the EGR fitting. I have never put SN95 headers on a fox, but I have put fox headers on my 94.

Nope, they were shorties. I cant think of any reason why the long tubes would not fit, but I'm not 100% sure they would. You would still need a SN95 H or X pipe though because of the different hangers.

if you look, you can get an AN cap that will thread on the EGR tube... or a pipe thread one... cant remember which it is off hand... looks better than welding it up... also.. I had 94-95 headers and a fox 2 1/4 dynomax h-pipe.. the ball on the later headers was 2 1/2... the h-pipe was 2 1/4... of course, the studs on my BBK's were bigger than the studs on the stock sn95 headers too.... I ended up having new down tubes for the H-pipe made... no biggie.. cost around $40,,,
