Question superchargers and gears... combo?

Hey guys,
After reading all like 20 responses to the topic about which supercharger to get I've really been considering getting a Kenne Bell when I get the money. I was thinking about installing 3.55 gears this summer. If I plan to get a supercharger in the future, are those gears a bad idea? I've heard that with a s/c you don't want gears that high, maybe something like 3.05s would be better.
Thanks in advance for your help
Scott

Talking

I think 3.55's would be great with a SC I had 3.08's stock and had gone with 3.55's before I installed the KB thinking they would be too much but then found myself wishing I had left the 3.55's in there. Last summer I installed a Z-spec world class tranny and was going to order another set of 3.55's but they talked me into 3.73's since my first and fifth gears were taller than stock... I have to admit that I LOVE my 3.73's!!! Of course my car pretty heavy and with me the full stereo and a tank of gas it is aproaching 3700 pounds... But I would say that 3.55's would probably still be a good choice. Good luck with whatever you decide!

Cool

Everything I've read and all the performance people in the know who I've spoken to all seem to agree that w/ a s/c or turbo, the ideal gear is the 3.55. So, that's what I have in preparation for my s/c.

Thumbs up

go with 3.55's OR 3.73's in a supercharged car

With the low rpm torque the Bell puts out,the 3.55's would work the best.

3.55's are the best all around gear in my opinion, but if you are gonna go with a WC T-5, i would go with the 3.73's like Stangsrule said...
