Worst Production Car of 2001 Survey!

Well It was almost a year ago that I asked the question "what is the worst production car of 2000?" Well I thought I would ask it again for 2001. This time I would make the survey a little more structured.

So it's time to tell the world (or just us here) what we, as mustang guys, think of the automobile world.

The questions! (please respond with the number and the car you choose)

1. Worst Production SUV of 2001?

2. Worst Production Car of 2001?

3. Worst "Performance" Car of 2001?

4. The absolute worst overall Production vehicle of 2001?

5. Worst Production Car manufacturer?

I get a vote too.

1.Pontiac Aztek!
2.Chev Cavalier (I know of 3 new ones that are plagued with problems)
3.Nissan Sentra (I saw a TV were they claimed it was a "performance car" LOL)
4. Toyota Echo (ahhhh I hate this car)
5. GM! Sorry Camaro and Firebird guys, your V8's kick *** on ricers, but I know too many people who are seriously regreting their GM purchases

1.Have to agree on the Pontiac Aztek. Very ugly.

2.Dodge Neon. My personl opinion here, I have a friend thats had one for about 4 months and had it in the shop for about 5 weeks out of those 4 months. All of it factory problems.

3.Anything Hyndai(sp?)

4.Again, agreed on the Toyota Echo. Or the Honda Hybrid car, although I kinda understand why it looks bad("green" auto).

5.Hyndai(sp?), a wannabe honda. The cars just don't ring with anything positive.

1) Asstek, by far. Followed by all the crapy little rice burnin' SUV's.

2)Toyota Echo

3)Shi*ty riceburners. Not supras or even Preludes, just the little crummy ones that claim to have performance.

4) The POS Cruiser. Its ugly(mostly because of the Chryslerized styling), its underpowered and front wheel drive, and did I mention its ugly.

5)GM, they just have horrible management. They are killing the F-bodies, bye-bye Oldsmobile hello Asstek. What's going on?
Of course they are followed closely, very closely by DaimlerChrysler. Other than the viper, I can't really think of much they have to offer that I really like. I'm not too crazy about the all the hondas, toyotas, hyndais(sp?), etc. However, since I know I would never buy one of those damn things anyway, I left them out.

You guys crack me up. As soon as I read the post I automatically thought: Pontiac Aztec and Toyota Echo.
Then, I read your posts and you have the same thing! I just had to laugh because I think is amazing that these companies ever produced these things. I just look at them and ask who in the hell let this things get by?

well here goes:
1. Aztek...ugly...jesus it's ugly. SUV is a relative term...this thing is a minivan with the looks of my b-hole
2. Dodge Neon...weak, ugly, still plagued with problems, not even a good penny pinchers car, plus it's a dodge. POS cruiser is included because it's basically a neon wagon.
3. Any front wheel drive car...sorry but i hate torque steer and the feeling of FWD cars let alone when it's a "performance car"
4. Chevy Avalance...sorry but the thing looks like sh/t just like the aztek and even though it can have uses....i wouldn't even ride in one, what were they thinking at GM when some idiot designed this thing
5. easy....DAEWOO, they're bankrupt and their cars suck...but Hyundai is a close second

1. Anything without a V8, and not atleast rwd.
2. (The wife's Super Chicken gets a vote) Neon-like cars with the whole bubble top thing going on.
3. 'Vette Z06.(it beat my beloved R, **** them!!!)
4. Asstek
5. Ford, for not putting the 5.4 R motor in the Cobra. AZZHOLES!!!!!!! Yeah, the other companies put out some crappy cars, but ford puts out one he11 of a car, and then forgets about it? **** them too!

Hands down the Chevy Blazer...two of my friends have them and the interior peices are breaking off all over the place.I have a friend who has an Aztek, and once you get around how ugly it is...there are a lot of cool options, and things about this truck.

2. Worst Production Car of 2001?

Volkswagon Beetle...simply put.. a gimmick to make money. I'm 6'2...you ever tried to actually sit in one of these?? And a BUD VASE ON THE DASH??? come on!!!

3. Worst "Performance" Car of 2001?

Sunfire GT...ugly and slow to boot. I'd buy a Civic Si before I bought one of these.

4. The absolute worst overall Production vehicle of 2001?

PT Cruiser.. a good Idea gone bad..under powered, over styled, and on a NEON platform...come on Chrysler...You done the Cruiser wrong.

5. Worst Production Car manufacturer?

Daimler Chrysler...sure they have set their cars apart from others in styling...but I can't tell one model from the other...still having just as many transmission problems as ever too.
