Automatic window problems
Hey guys, on my 87 mustang 5.0 my passanger side door motor shorted out apprentely. For about a week it would go down but not up for some reason. Then out of no where it would go up when I pressed it. The switch is brand new too. I had fixed some bad wiring which had come undone and arched out. Thus somehow I think it blew the motor out. I did the basic ground testing to make sure as well. My buddy has a Camaro who had the same problem. I know that replacing the motor is a hard operation so I just wanna get my window up so I can drive it around lol. My driver side one goes up and down fine so thats good. I'm just wonder if theres a way to get the window up. Like a window un-locking mechanisim that will let me pull it up then lock it in place again. Once again my buddy with the Camaro did this with his out of luck and I was wondering if 5.0's have a locking mechansim I can un-do to free will it up?? Thanks, much help appreciated
