How to release drum brakes? HELP!
I took the drums off of my father-in-laws mustang to paint them. After they were dry, I put one on with no problem. The shoes on the other side are too far out to get the drum back on. How can I adjust the brake or push in the shoes to get it back on? I only need about 1/4 inch.

You already did the star-wheel adjuster down to zero?
Tap on everything with the handle of a screwdriver, to make sure everything is seated. It _should_ just all slip together. Good luck.
