Default Newbie to MW

Hi everyone. I would like to take a few lines to introduce myself. I am a "recent" Ford reform. I used to be "Chebby" all the way. After owning a handful of GM cars ('81 Vette, 93 Formula, 94 TA, and a '95 Impala SS) my hubby introduced me to Mustangs. It was love at first site! I am totally hooked on the Mustang, old and new. We have a 2000 GT and I am hoping to trade the Taurus in on a 2003 GT. We have two wonderful little boys, ages 6 and 4 1/2. The 4 1/2 year old is multi-handicapable, so he uses a wheelchair. The stang just doesn't have the trunk room for a wheelchair. However, he has recently begun walking with a walker, so I'm ready to ditch the "mommy mobile" and get a real Ford!

I have drag racing experience with my other cars, and we are hoping to get the stang to the track soon.

I am looking forward to chatting with you all!

Welcome 2000stanggirl, You're going to like it here. I just traded in my 2001 coupe on a 2002 convertible. I sure am addicted to Mustangs now. I also have a little boy who is handicapped. I did my time in a "mommy mobile" too. My son is 10 now and he loves the convertible. We went to pick it up at the dealership and he ran to it opened the door and jumped in, laughing the whole time!! Anywho, Welcome. Love your car.

Alright!....We don't get many Okie's on the boards. What part of the state are you from if you don't mind telling?

Anyway...glad to have you aboard. Welcome to your second home. I know you will find TONS of useful information and many helpful people who are willing to take time to lend a hand.

This is the best Mustang specific site on the web, and one of the best message boards I've ever seen, anywhere.

Again, welcome.

Thanks for the welcomes guys!! I have been participating on stangnet, but there are a lot of times that you just don't get any responses, or people get snotty.

We are just north of Tulsa. Go to TIR (Tulsa International Raceway) when we can.
