ok here goes......
thinkin about getting aq 96 mustang (v-6) and throwing a 99 GT engine in with a 5 speed tranny. can i do this since the car changed in 99? also, will i run into problems fitting 99 aftermarket exhaust and air intake on a 96 platform? how much will this cost if i put the engine and tranny in myself? thanks for any help |

Well, I am not sure about what you will need. I doubt the engine mounts have changed since the frame is basically the same. You will need a new 8.8 rear end, the lx's came with a 7.5 so add that to the bill.
