Question Power Steering Pump

I recently installed a Power Steering pump since my old one was leaking. Its a pepboys remanufactured one. The problem is it now sounds like an old Cadillac, when you turn the steering wheel it makes that "whine" type of sound. I took it back got a differant one and still make that noise. Is there anything you need to do after installing a pump to stop the noise?

with the engine cold fill to cold point on the dipstick. with the wheels pointing straight start the car and let it run for a few minutes check level again and top off to cold mark if needed. Turn to wheels side to side to work the air out. keep the fluid level up. when you dont see anymore bubbles, return the wheels so the straight position and let the car run a couple of more minutes. you should be good to go after that.
