Emergency brake cable question
I bought the emergency brake cables for both sides and I was looking under the car and I want to know how do they connect to the brake handle? Is there another cable kit that connects the brake handle to the two rear cables? It just looks like I am missing something under there. The end of the brake handle has a hook at the end but I can't see how that would attach to the ends of the rear cables.
I don't have any existing brakes cables hooked up so I don't know how it's supposed to be. Anyone with info on this? It would be GREATLY appreciated. ------------------ '82 GT 351W C-4,BBK headers,Carter 625 carb,Comp.Cam,Flowmaster exhaust. 1988 GT...T-5,bone stock |

I think there is another kit for the handle. I had the handle cable break, and I have a Y-adapter sitting in my glove box that connects the two cables that go to the drums. I had tried to replace it but I couldn't get the damn handle rachet to tension right and ended up stripping the new cable with the allen screw that grips it. Good luck on fixing yours.
