Question Is this an EGR problem?

Recently my car idles very erratic and then stalls. It will only do this sometimes. Also if I don’t let the car warm up it will hesitate and lurch. Yesterday I was driving and when I shifted it would stall out. This is the best I can describe my problem. I think it is the EGR. If it is my EGR what should I do. Is there any way I can easily
fix this problem?

Thanks

At different times I had cold stalling
problems - 1st time was hi miles EGR that
was sticking when engine cold and low vacuum.
Warm was fairly OK. Later, EGR position
sensor went bad, same cold start stalling.
Then started having mainly rough idle -
took the idle air speed motor off and
cleaned the little valve - sprayed with
carb spray and brushed - don't scrape and
nick the valve or seat. Cleared right up.
If someone you know has a code reader, good
place to start. got mine about $50(?) couple
years ago, great investment.
