Boss 429
I'm currently rebuilding my '69 Boss 429 that has 30,000 miles on it(sat for years) and I'm stuck on trying to find head gaskets! No one sells them! They are like copper rings I think! Thanks!

Do you have the originals and if so they aren't pitted? Then just akneel they .Heat them wiht a torch till they a red hot (not melted!) and let them air cool. This will soften them like new. I do it with turbo and steam turbine parts that have alot more psi than you 429 motor......Dave
