Computer Chips
I have actually seen a car pick up one second and one tenth by adding a chip. But it was on a 2001 VW Jetta 1.8T. My buddy went from an awesome 92 lx Hatch with 40k miles (built306 ect) to that car which in stock trim was ripping 16.0@88 mph. Then he sent his computer to this company APR who adds a chip which can be turned on an off via the cruise control button and let me tell you, that car with the chip on runs 14.9@94mph and it just wont hook up out of the whole. So on a turbo charged car it is very possible to get those kind of results as it is possible with a supercharged car. I know of a 93 supercoupe with an ads superchip that had similar results as well.

well I can say just doing a chip on my car picked up 79 rwhp and almost 100 rwtq. It REALLY needed tuning though and is no where near stock... but still that was impressive to me to say the least
