Default 2001 Gt (steeda) Hood Update.

ABOUT A MONTH OR TWO AGO I ASKED EVERYONE ON THE MESSAGE FORUM WHAT COMPANY I SHOULD BUY A HOOD FROM. WELL I ENDED UP BUYING MY FIBERGLASS HOOD FROM WWW.AGECLASSIC.COM I DO ADMIT THEY WERE A LITTLE BIT MORE EXPENSIVE THEN IT'S COMPETITORS, BUT THEY ENSURED ME QUALITY. AND THAT'S WHAT I WAS GOING FOR. I LIVE IN CINCINNATI, OH AND I LIVE REALLY CLOSE TO CINCINNATI COMPOSITES, BUT AFTER THE HELLISH CUSTOMER SERVICE, THE *&%$ OF AN OWNER, AND SEEING THE QUALITY OF THEIR WORK, NEEDLESS TO SAY I WOULDN'T WALK ACROSS THE STREET IF THEY WERE GIVING THEM AWAY FOR FREE. BUT ANYWAYS I FINALLY GOT MY HOOD PAINTED AND INSTALLED, AND I'M VERY PLEASED WITH IT. IT LINES UP VERY WELL (FOR A FIBERGLASS HOOD) THE HOOD LATCH WAS OF GREAT QUALITY, THE UNDERNEATH OF THE HOOD WAS JUST AS NICE AS THE TOP, DUE TO IT BEING A DOUBLE WALLED HOOD. THE VENTS WERE ALREADY PROPERLY INSTALLED, THE HINGES WERE ALREADY DRILLED OUT AND TAPPED WITH BOLTS THAT CAME WITH THE HOOD. OVERALL I GIVE THE HOOD A 9. WHEN THE HOOD CAME IT DIDN'T HAVE THE SCOOP CUT OUT, AND IT LOOKED REALLY STUPID. BUT I HAD THE SHOP CUT IT OUT AND INSTALLED DRAINS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE HOOD SO WATER WON'T STAY INSIDE THE HOOD. SO IF ANYONE IS IN THE MARKET TO INVEST IN A FIBERGLASS HOOD I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMENDED WWW.AGECLASSIC.COM. (SPEAK TO MIKE, HE WAS A GREAT HELP... THANKS MIKE ) I ALSO HAD MY SIDE MIRRORS PAINTED WHEN I GOT MY HOOD DONE. WHAT DO YOU THINK?

DOWN LOAD THE PIC OF THE NEW HOOD ON MY CAR.

Thanks guys, it really pays off when you find someone that can appreciate the hard work, dedication, and of course all the time & money that goes into these street machines. Thanks again.
