Default Trans Fluid Change

I need to change my tranny fluid and i was wondering how many quarts a 5.0 AOD takes?

If it is just a drain and fill of the trans pan then about 4-5 qrts tops, If you drain the torque converter then add about 5-6 more qrts. A brand new AOD with torque converter dry takes about 11-12 qrts to fill assuming a stock converter and trans pan.
