Post question on 91 harness and A9L

will a 91 harness and A9L work in an 89 Coupe?

I believe they will, but the A9P is what the 89 autos had in them..What is the computer now in the 89..The A9P is a little more aggresive than the A9L..

I don't think it will, unless you do some re-wiring(don't know exatcly what though) on it. But you would need both wiring diagrams. We tried a 90 harness in an 87(4cyl swap) and it wouldn't work. Fuel pump wouldn't come on, but as soon a we swapped in an 89 harness the car fied right up...

The EEC will though......
