Fuel Pump Doesnt Turn On!
Can any one tell me why my fuel pump doesnt turn on? I have a 92 stang 5.0 AOD I ran the codes and got error: 95 i check all the fuses under the drivers side dash and they're all fine. I have a kill start clifford A3 alarm could it be causing the fuel pump to malfunction? Heres what happened. I had just got done installing headers and a throttle body. I went to turn on the car and it turned and ran fine for about 5 seconds and i turned it off cuz on of the bolts to the h pipe was loose. When i went to turn it back on the alarm had activated and i turned to key alarm went off and the kill start ignitiated. I went to turn it on again and it ****ed up and wouldnt start. I reset the memory codes and still nothing. What can it be? This happened before during the same thing on the way up to wa from ca we pulled into a gas station turned the car off went to turn it back on and it would same error 95??

I'd try disconnecting the alarm and checking it out. It's possible that some wires have been shorted leading to the fuel pump as well I suppose. But in that case the fuse would keep blowing out. I'd unhook the alarm first.

I'd disconnect the alarm first then I would check the two Fuel Pump relays, I think on the 92 and up they are both located right under the mass air meter. On my 91 one is under the drivers seat, and 1 is under the mass air meter.

I turned the car on today and it turned on fine. Just that i need to tune the Throttle body (but i have no instructions!) I can turn the car on w/ the alarm disconnected from the ground or if i unplug any of the fuses. They havent blown out so i dont think there are any shorting wires.
The alarm must have been installed wrong. O yah DOes any one know how to tune a 65 mm throttle body. |
