Default Im a mass air retard. Help me out.

Ok the 90 coupe I just purchased as a rolling chasis has all the mass air wiring etc...

I can get a stock mass air meter for free. but, what would be a good upgrade over the stock mass air meter. I have 19# injectors still.

Would the stock mass air meter choke my engine down or would it work just fine

Thanks,

Just by looking at your sig, I would say that the stock meter will choke you pretty good. Why not go with a Pro-M meter? They have their new Univer meter that measures air in a 360* radius, as opposed to the old sampling tube method. The Univer helps to cure surging idles associated with CAIs that 'bend' the air, thus screwing up the sampling parameters.

Also, why not upgrade to 24#ers and get the meter to match?

IMO, Pro-M is the way to go.

So does the Pro M universal meter have to be calibrated for injector size or does it work with all injectors.

I can get one for 50 bux from a friend.

It has to be calibrated for the injector size your planning on running. they can be recalibrated if you change injector size but it's better to just get/find one for what your planning on running.
