Is the American Thunder system supposed to have Delta Flow?
Is the American Thunder system supposed to have Delta Flow? I was looking at mine and it has three baffles in each muffler. Is this right. I thought that it had the 40 series with single baffle mufflers.

The American Thunder system comes with two chamber muffs. The Force II muffs are 3-chambers, and the Delta Flows is another muffler design completely with 40 series being two chamber and the 50 series being three chambers.

But I thought the American thunder had 1 baffle in each muffler not 3. I looked on the web and the Delta Flow mufflers are the ones with three baffles. The two chamber mufflers from what I saw seen come in with both 1 and 3 baffles in the mufflers. Inthe url below it shows that the 40 series comes in Delta flow also.

For the non-Delta-flows, 1 baffle = 2 chamber = 40 series = the mufflers that come with the American Thunder catback, 2 baffles = 3 chamber = 50 series = the mufflers that come with the Force II catback. I don't think that the catbacks come with Delta flows.

Look the Flowmaster web page it says on the 40 series mufflers they have single and triple baffle mufflers in the 40 series. If you click on the Delta Flow sign on that page it says that they put the delta flow in their 40 and 50 series mufflers. The 40 series is the 2 chamber muffler. I was origanally tring to find out why the American Thunder, supposivaly the loudest, has the Delta Flow techanology.

AmericanThunder
The American Thunder system comes with Delta Flows to reduce the interior drone. I was looking for the loudest too so I called Flowmaster and thats the explanation they gave me with no way of getting the regular 40-Series in a cat-back.
