Anti-Theft switches???
After reading all of the horrible "stolen car"posts lately i want to put some cut off switches on Marbles. Does any one know where i can get instructions on how to put in a fuel cut off and ignition cut off in her? I don't want any one to steal my baby!

you can unplug the harness from the inertia switch in the trunk.
It is the reset button in there in case you get *** -ended. Cuts off the fuel pump completely. Car will run for 1 second tops. Also do this to replace fuel lines, filter etc. ------------------ 4.10's,long tubes & 75 shot...Goes 12.50's Check it out at http://www.burnouts.stangnet.com 11's coming soon!!!! Thanks. But i was thinking more along the lines of something i could hide in the cabin and flip on/off when i am sitting in the driver seat. I don't want to pop the hood or hatch and fiddle around every time i park my car. Thanks

Just put a switch in line with one of the wires feeding the inertia switch and run it under your seat.

I puting in a 351 and wanted to keep the electric in tank pump. What I did was I found the fuel relay underneath the seat and found the hot to the pump, I think it's pink with black stripe and ran a hot from the fuse box from the radio fuse and mounted a switch hidden in the glove box, works great and if I was in an accident the inertia switch still works. Just find a place that's not so obvious and not under the steering wheel, the first place someone will look for a cut off switch.
Good luck! |
