Post 3.3 to 5.0 swap

Im planning on putting a carbed 5.0 into my '80 stang in place of my 3.3 straight six. I seem to remember hearing somewhere that the inline 6 stangs used a different engine crossmember than the 4, v6, and v8
Anyone know if ill need to get that when i get the v8 motor mounts?

Yes, the front engine crossmember is different than the 4 cylinder/V8 crossmember. I had an '83 Zephyr with the 3.3L and i looked into putting a 5.0 into it. You will need to get that as well as a double hump transmission crossmember for the dual exhaust if you don't have one already. Good luck on your project!
