Post quarter glass trim

Is there anyway to repair old quarter glass trim on the 87-93's? Its dry rotted and pitted real bad. Just wonderin if you guys have found a fix for this.

use different grades of sandpaper on mine and it brought it back to new. finish with a fine grit and then apply "back to black" by mothers. it will recondition the rubber. it looks brand new.

'85 LX, Performer 289 intake, 650 double pumper, KandN, Crane 1.7 rockers, Jacobs Pro Street ignition and wires, Crane coil, equal length headers, modified exhaust (new system pending), 10.5" Centerforce II, pullies, electric fan, 8.8 with 3.73's, subframe connectors, PST front end rebuild kit, KYB struts, and Eibach springs. Brakes, front seats, 1/4 windows and tailights from a 1990. No times yet.

i bet that they are as bad as mine and i dont think that sanding will do the job, maybe it will though
a friend of mine has an 87 that he sanded then painted with trim paint and it turned out pretty good, mothers back to black does work a little bit but doesnt last long at all and all it does is make it a little darker, it does nothing for the pittedness of the trim, i wish some company would come up with a cheap replacement for this trim (not the covers) because pretty much every 87-93 i see is like this and it is ugly as hell
