Default I have problems...

Heres my deal, i bought a vert 95 5.0 gt, automatic

The engine turns, but the wheels it do not it seems. Also it is taking a while to go through the gears a lil bit.

I put in a new transmission. I have msd ignition, 373 gears, mac offroad h pipe and flowmasters. 9mm wires. I cant figure it out. The new tranny helped go through the gears quite a bit. I just dont go like anybody else. It is a struggle to keep up with alot of the v8s. When i say keep up, i mean staying in the same time zone. The engine turns, but no movement from the rear. I changed the o2 sensors as they were bad. But i dont know. ITs like i just dont have any torque. Should i check my engine compression or what. My service engine light doesnt come on. I just dont know. Anyhow, any thoughts/ideas would be appreciated.

Not an AOD expert so the best advice I can give you is that this sounds like it could be a torque converter problem.

If this problem existed before the new transmission was installed, you've eliminated the tranny as the culprit.

A code scan would be helpful and might show any engine-related malfunctions that would cause the lack of power you describe.

Have you advanced the timing on that bad boy? They set em at like 8-10 degrees initial stock. You should be at 13-15 degrees initial.
