Something everyone can relate to
Ok, I know whether you are a master mechanic, or a backyard mechanic, you have hurt yourself somehow while working on your car? What are some of the injuries/ burns/ etc... you've received?

The worst i'd say is slicing my thumb open to the bone in high school auto shop when my hand slipped while pulling apart a Toyota 4 runner manual transmission.
Also i sliced my pinky open pretty deep when i was re-oringing injectors on a 7.3L diesel....that was gushing serious blood. Other than that just the usual bruises, scratches, cuts and burns when you smack your hands into things.

LOL
I could not list what I've done over the years, it would take pages... really nothing too serious, probably a few cuts that required stitches, but never got them, i wonder what my knuckles would look like today if I didn't work on my cars!

I lifted my 351-W with an engine hoist by using some of the accessory brackets (ALUMINUM). OOPS!
Broke the bracket and fell on my hand. Luckily my wedding ring took most of it, and didnt lose any fingers.

I used to get just the usual burns, scratches, bumps and bruises till I worked at Midas. That place was trying to kill me. Got burns all over from welding including several bad burns up my right arm from some molten metal catching in my rolled up sleeves. Also split my thumb wide as* open when some exhaust fell while I was hacking at it with a sawz-all. That one had to have stitches. I have over 100 obvious scars on my forearms and hands. They especially are visiable when I have a tan like I do now. Looking like frankenstein or something. Oh well scars build character.

The usual cuts and scrapes. But hey, you can't have mustangs in your blood, until you've left blood on your mustang.
