Post LAKEWOOD TRACTION BARS

HEY HAS ANYBODY EVER HEARD OF LAKEWOOD TRACTION BARS HITTING THE ROAD WHEN BRAKING. THANK

Yup.


Mine go "ding da ding ding...." if I slam the brakes really hard. They come with these plates that do not allow them do do this but I don't have them.

I have had them on for a couple of years with no problem.

You really need to install those brackets, they will prevent your traction bars from digging into the ground and I think they also help with braking.
I had them on my last mustang and the brackets hit on everything it seems like, especially speed bumps.

yeah i have the brake loops but the bushings didnt come in the kit and its driving me crazy. so i was wondering if i could take the loops off. anymore opinions would help thanks

You can buy the bushings, I am not sure where you get them but you might check with the place where you bought them from.

I had to buy an extra brake loop for mine, one of them broke from hitting a speed bump.
