![]() To make a long story short, I had to order a new setup for the emergency brake cables that run underneath the car. I need a diagram on how to put it together. I have a modified/new crossmember and I'm not sure if the bar that pivots off the spring hooked into the old crossmember. What I need is a diagram of the setup - one that preferably has a picture of the crossmember so I can see if I have to modify the modified one - (if that makes any sense!) My Haynes manual doesn't show it and the Chilton manual I have barely shows it. My car's a '65 convertible that originally had a 64 1/2 bellhousing. It nows has a 351W with a Tremec 5 speed. If anyone knows a way to hook up the emergency brake, OR any type of emergency brake setup - PLEASE HELP! (If anyone wants/needs me to take pictures of what it looks like now I can and I'll upload 'em.)
