SHO'ed him my tail lights
Nothing major, but I did dust a SHO on the Beltway 8 feeder here in Houston. It's a good place to troll for races as there aren't too many cross streets and not many places for cops to hide.
It was an easy kill, but I kinda take whatever I can get these days. He was cool and came up even afterwards with a thumbs up. He probably was only a 15 second car, but WTF, he wanted to run, so I did. Rev

Nice! I was a fan of the SHO's, they weren't that bad of family cars made by Ford. How many did they make though? I don't see that many around here.

RAN A NEW SHO
Hey Rev - Your little story brought back a fond memory for me of a brief run I had with an SHO about 10 - 12 years ago, still remember it like it was yesterday. I had a brand new '89 5.0 LX, bone stock back then, with about 5000 miles on it. We both were hustling through stop and go traffic, nothing too much, before we both ended up merging on the highway. By the time we swung completely around the exit we were doing about 40 mph, I figured I'd stomp him and pass once we got on the highway (it was early so there was no traffic). Well was I in for a surprise. He gets on it big time and we run up to about 110 and I could not close on him one bit, we were dead even. Those SHO's run strong especially once they get rolling. Thanks for the memory!
