Sure you can.

Looking at what you got, I would say, SVO (FRPP) heads and intake, port and polish them as long as their out of the car anyway, keep your exhaulst (very nice), 4.10s and the T56 are always good, Pro-M, and a new dyno'd chip will get you there just fine.

If you are still on stock rubber, get something better. 4.10s and BFG Comp T/As don't seem to get along too well.

Hmmm,

I'm not so sure it'll be that easy 97snake, although I agree it can be done...

I guess we would need to know what you're running right now without the N20.

Do you have a time slip and dyno numbers for us?

That's about what I expected without the juice.

I don't think port and polished SVO heads and intake alone will do it. Definately 13s, but I don't know if you will see 12s.

I don't have my SVO catalogue with me, but if I remember correctly, both together would give you about a 70-80 HP gain. I also think that you may have to have the chip from SVO to run the heads correctly, so if you port and polish, say hello to custom chips.

Any way you cut it, even being nice and adding another 100 HP for port/polished SVO heads\intake, you're not cutting 12s.

I honestly think the best way to get into the 12s for you will be the SVO heads and roots blower\intake combo.

ok, ok, how about the heads, with the intake, plus an intercolled chargeer from vortech. That plus my 4.10's, lower/upper arms, tracklink, subframes, and a 5 or 6 speed, haven't decided yet, mostlikely for the money a 5 speed.. Should that do it???

Why would you want to get rid of the 4R70W? With a Vortech at 12 psi, Ported SVO heads, the gears you have and a 3000 stall converter and good tires, that car will go into the 11s. For what you would spend putting in a T56, you are not going to go any faster and will have spent a ton of money doing the conversion. Here is a site where a gentlemen I talk to on other boards has his wifes 96 GT with Vortech and Ported SVO heads running 11.77 @ 116 mph with an Automatic. www.Hartracing.com. Go check it out. I'm in the process of having my converters' stall bumped to 3200 rpms so I'm in the boost off the line which should make the car fly with traction.
