Post late model wheels

Can i put Cobra R wheels on my '65, do the lug patterns match? Also, a late model master cylinder&booster? Will it fit?

The lug pattern will match if they are both five lugs which they probably are. You need to take into consideration that the Cobra R rims are most likely 17/9" (I think) and clearance may be a problem. However, you may be able to get them in a smaller size.

Ok here is my imput. The guy above is right on the rim size and my bro and I put his 97 GT rims on my 69 coupe, let me tell you something. The turning radius sucks. You will rub them hoes bald on the edges.I will look into his magazines and give you some info on a site with a smaller size R.

Be beack!!

Cool

Ok, I am back and with some good news. There is a article in the back of all MM&FF magazines and you can get them there. They are 16x7 1/2.Those would be perfect for your coupe. They come out of Performance Wheel Outlet Inc.

Hope this helps if you havent already gotten them by now.

I looked at the wheels mentioned above, for
200 bucks a piece i would get something else.
The offset for the late model wheels is likely different then the early model Mustangs. For 200.00 each you can get American Racing wheels in 17x7 or 17x8,
they have the right offset and should be a
bolt on deal. My 2 cents...
