Any Ideas?
I'm getting a 71 Torino and I was woundering what kinda mod I should do first. The engine runs good and most everything is working. The only thing not working is the AC but the windows go down so i'm not worried about air. I'm not really looking so much for more power right now just better driveablity (sp?). Was there anything really off on the 71 that could use improvement? Like brakes, steering, ect. Oh and the C4 was just rebuilt on it like 2 weeks ago so no worries there either. Oh yeah very little rust to. Just a pin hole in the trunk which i'm going to replace with a reproduction part. Thanks for any help that you give. Thomas from little old Dublin GA

If power, AC, and trans. are not an issue, I would up-grade the brakes. That is the next thing on my list. I have 4 wheel non power drum, and they do stop but not very fast. This is my opinion anyway. Good luck.

Rear sway bar and heavier F/R shocks will help you everyday.
