Default new fuel pressure regulator in, car runs great but hard to start?

I set the pressure at 37 vacuum disconnected. If anyone has followed my car problems I think the performance problem is fixed. Now the car has to be cranked for a 2-3 seconds before it starts and sometimes I have to crank it two times. I check all hoses and check for vacuum leaks with a guage and nothing. Should I raise the pressure? With the stock regulator the pressure was at 41psi,but started quickly, but ran like crap.

Glad to see you didn't go crazy with pressure, is the fuel pump up to snuff? Injectors good?

You did plug the vacuum line on the fpr with your finger while you adjusted it right? If you did, then I would guess maybe your fuel pump as mentioned before.

i would say that it would be a timing prob, but im guessing you didnt mess with that. i guess just try setting it again, make sure you plug the vaccum line like earlier stated.
