Default arghh damn engine lights to HELL

hey stangers, put on my bbk kit, all fastened, maf, iat sensors in place, locked down an secure. runnin fine for a week or so then las Monday while ..ahem.. "acclerating" down an on ramp the engine light comes on, but when i get to crusin (70-80) she goes off. its only under WOT an its only untill the rpms steady out at 70-80 Thinkin it migh be the TPS, what say you noble stang windsor gods?

Have you checked it for any codes? May try clocking (turning 90 degrees) your mass air meter to see if that helps.

Mine comes on every now and then. As long as the car runs good, who cares if it comes on.

thanx guys,
i'm jus "guestimatin" the problem before i take her in. I think its the TPS..i'd scan for codes but i don't have the tools, or parts to do the work. (ooo Christmas is comin tho)..

Hey, you said BBK..... is that cold air intake you just installed? I like to reset the computer everytime I change something that has to do with air, spark, or fuel so that the computer can learn the new values. I think your computer is expecting one set of values, however it is recieving something else. I have to reset the computer about once every six months, if not, it will lul my car to sleep by backing out to much timing and fuel to the point I get lean pops! Well anyway, my .02
