ET streets vs nitto dr
I am looking into getting a new set of tires and am seriously thinking of et streets. I`ve had nitto`s for the last 2 years with no problems(stock axles). I`ve heard that the et`s hook better, would this be too much traction for my tired stock axles?
Thanks for the replies

There is no comparison.
The ET streets hook way in the hell better than nitto dr. Your stock axles will probably hold up. You may eventually break one but the ET gains outway the risk

Well I guess ther had to be a down side to them. The Nittos are great in rain. Maybe I should stick with the dr since i drive the car daily.
Thanks for the input

The sidewalls on the ET streets are pretty soft and would be at risk for damage if used for daily driving, they're just slicks with some poor excuses for grooves in them. I think you'd be crazy to use these for daily driving. Most people around here have a set on some 10 holes and swap them at the track.

MMFF just did an article on tires. I need more traction but dont want to break axles and its a daily driver. I might switch from nittos to bfg and see the dif.

I was gona sugest the BFG's also. would be good for a daily driver as long as you aren't to concerned about tire wear.
