73 Mach I Resto
Ok I'm about to embark on a new Mustang Project. A 73 Mach I. It needs extensive body work. Although I've never done any bodywork this extensive, I'm pretty handy, can weld and would like to do as much as possible of the "rough in" work. As close as I can tell so far it needs the following: trunk pan, floor pans, frame rails, inner fenders and quarter panels and probable some cowl work. What is the best way to proceed. Is there an order I should work in (in other words what should I do first, second, and so on). Are there any good books out there to guide me on this type of resto for this model. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Paul |

I have the same car, but I don't really know anything about body work. I recently rebuilt my cleveland, so if you have any engine questions, I may be able to help. As far as books, there aren't any that i know of specializing in our big mustangs. Good luck!
