Default Teflon tape with nitrous fittings

Can anyone recommend for or against using tape on threads?

The stuff that we use is a liquid teflon, used quite moderately.

I'm glad I asked then.. I was concerned about it clogging.

Could I get away with not using anything?

Not Recommended!!! You will "gall" the threads and have a seepage problem.

Use the liquid teflon sealer...
